Carys Eadon

Through this project, I explore the concept of perspective and urban environments, highlighting the juxtaposition of powerful skylines and the reality of city life. The glamour and economic success symbolised by modern architecture, often act as façade distracting from the serious issue of pollution and overcrowding.
Experimenting with ways of representing urban composition, I use a collection of 2D, 3D and digital techniques to decontextualise and reconstruct models, patterns and projection. Creating a set of photographs and moving images of a dark cityscape that is realistically symbolic of the unhealthy reality of urbanicity.
