My work deals with 'The Found Object' and emanates from the frustrations and obstacles I encounter in my daily life, alongside the questions I feel myself asking frequently. Constantly wondering how do my objects become more valuable through artmaking than they were in a previous life history? Linking my own use of the found object with the notion of agency. How do 'regular' and seemingly obsolete articles get promoted to something of more importance and status?
