I could waste time thinking of a limerick or a smart way to catch your attention and see what a great writer I am. But I won’t do that. I’m not the greatest writer in the world, nor am I the worst. I write because it’s all I’ve known. I persevere and work hard to grow and perfect my craft. And whilst I know that I may not be the best right now, I am always willing to work harder than any individual in the room to reach my expectations as a writer. Writing is the one medium where I am unfiltered and able to speak my truth without fear of backlash or slating. I write about my passion and topics integral to my being. I am fearless in the pursuit of getting my truth out there to the world, and I never let anyone, or anything stand in my way. I think we need more people like that. People that are unafraid and unapologetically themselves. I am outspoken and shy at the same time. And I am an empath and a harsh critic. I am a conundrum. But my writing. My writing is my identity.
