A 21 year old, 3rd year Creative Writing Student at Coventry University, Maria Pargas excels in darker fiction and tends to delve deeper into the human psyche and its sinister aspects; moreso murder, infanticide, human dollmaking and psychological horror. Interested in conspiracy theories such as Life is a Simulation and PizzaGate, these theories show a consistent influence in the writer's work and has been present through the three years.

Inspiration for said pieces are pulled from murder cases such as Myra Hindley (infanticide), Anatoly Moskvin (dollmaking) and psycho-thriller novels such as Pretty Baby by Mary Kubicka and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.
