Gemma Lily

My name is Gemma Lily, I am a London based freelance illustrator who specialises in food illustration and the variety of formats this takes. I have a real enthusiasm for food and cooking. I apply this experience and passion to my illustrations. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of food illustration, including combining it with my strength in narrative illustration.
My work offers the appeal of traditional illustration whilst using digital media such as Procreate. My style projects a keen sense of joy and has a novel, playful and enthusiastic feel. I produce unique solutions, communicating ideas in a clear and concise yet visually appealing manner. My illustrations are colourful, engaging and, ideal for editorial, packaging and promotional commissions.
I have demonstrated these skills in my final major project for which I have made a complete brand identity for a self-made smoothie brand 'Oatful Blends'. I designed and illustrated the logo and branding work, packaging, promotional materials and special edition extras.
