Sandra Nygren

I am Sandra Nygren: a video editor, 3D artist, and media creator. Throughout my university studies, I have produced many creative works in different mediums including short films, animations, 3D models, and a VR game. I pride myself on creating polished works of a high professional standard, ambitiously going above and beyond expectations. I am always looking to learn new software and develop my skills to grow as a creative professional, and I am actively seeking an exciting opportunity to start my career in the media industry.

I created the "Our Shared Stories" project to act as an advocate for LGBTQ+ experiences, showing young struggling people that they are not alone in their issues and that there is help to be received. Through experimental visuals and emotion-provoking storytelling, based on thirteen interviews, the three videos illustrate difficult experiences LGBTQ+ people regularly go through. The videos were created using several different software including Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender, and the image-to-animation program Ebsynth. After being posted on Twitter, Tiktok, and Youtube the videos received a total of about 3000 views combined.
