My name is David Abdelmacih. An ambitious international student with diverse work experience. I am a critical thinker, a good team player dedicated to learning more. I believe that understanding human behavior and context with natural consideration could lead to a more harmonic world.

The proposed project is in Spon End, which is a gateway to Coventry. Spon End was placed outside the city walls and eventually grew isolated from the city by the Ring Road and the Railway Arches. Thus, the proposed design aims to tie back the city together and draw inspiration from the railway arches to establish a landmark. Moreover, the main façade represents the contrast between the collapsed Cathedral and the survival of Spon End. The main façade has "fallen" towards the Cathedral and stands strong towards Spon End. In addition, the arches reveal marks of collapse.
