About me: I am a Part 1 architect who aims to connect the architecture of a place with the community and especially the heritage and history of the site. I enjoy diagrams and experimental sketches that challenge the traditional perception of what a building should look like and how it should be experienced by the people.
About the project: The site is situated along the river Sherbourne which is known for its woodcarving history that inspired the project. The building has the double function of a wood workshop and modern theatre and it has the role of reconnecting the people with the local heritage and bonding the international community that populates the site. On the other hand, the project focuses on introducing the people to an eco mean of travel and supports local crafts, while it has alternative commercial and leisure uses that contribute to the cultural development of the city.
