An autonomous city car for the youth of 2030 London.

Following the impact of Covid-19 young people continue to live a life in increased isolation. Their homes are shrinking all the while the average number of household members increase. Driving them to spend more time one their phones and social media impacting their mental health. They are left with less places to go outside the home as youth service funding continues to be cut and their parents work hours increase.

NUGO offers a new form of escape and freedom through providing young people with mobility freedom as well as the architecture to partake in outdoor urban hobbies and sports such as Parkour, Graffiti and Skateboarding. Helping improve the physical and mental health of the youth of tomorrow.

After 2 years on placements at Jaguar, Design Storz and Dickie Toys, I saw the potential in designs where a rich story was at the centre. Something I enjoy instilling in ever part of my work to help create a holistic project and product that people can instantly bond and relate with. I'm looking forward to exploring and expanding my design process after University and to continue to learn as a designer.
