Current superyacht trends show that the superyacht industry is dominated by the west, and therefore existing superyachts are mostly designed for the needs and tastes of the western culture.

SEREIN is a 60m modular sailing catamaran designed for the year 2030 in Asia-Pacific region. It is designed to help the growth of the superyacht industry in the east by providing a more desirable and unique experience of superyacht ownership.

The catamaran takes advantage of its different possible modular configurations complemented by shared ownership to target a new market of high flexibility and sustainability, in order to appeal to potential clients in Asia-Pacific.

I have developed a keen interest in yachts since second year of university and I am currently looking for a career within the yacht industry as an exterior/interior yacht designer. Although I had an opportunity for a summer internship with Dragoni Design in Italy last year, I was unable to take part due to covid and I would love to gain further industry experience after my graduation.
