Russell Tigno
BA (Hons) Automotive and Transport – Explore and Respond

My project explores the need for urban escapism in the year 2040, and how a vehicle can bring people together for work, relaxing and friendship, whether they are traveling together, traveling to see someone, or simply finding the time and space to connect with their well-being.
Presenting Skyline, an electric semi-rigid airship designed for experiential travel as a form of escapism, offering spaces to eat with friends, enjoy a night's sleep in personal accommodation, or even practise some mindful activities. This gives passengers the opportunity to switch off their busy, stressful lifestyle, and gather at the strongholds of uninterrupted experiences.
I am an imaginative, well-coordinated individual with a strong enthusiasm for transport design. I appreciate working collectively, I had the chance to do so during my third year while working on a group project in collaboration with DMO; however, I am very capable of individual work.
Currently pursuing a career within the transport interior design sector, as it is an open field with space for new potential and innovative ideas. I am always persevering to improve my skills, by progressing from what I have learned during university, and by conceptualising my own projects, enabling me to better my art.
