BA (Hons) Automotive and Transport – Innovation on water

The concept showcases a potential view of what innovation could look like within the next few decades, taking advantage of new technologies and materials to advance the yachting world. Having taken a movie approach I was able to construct a vessel with fewer constraints without breaking the overall foundation of what makes a yacht, showing a glimpse of what the future could hold.

The movie narrative takes place within the near future, the world has seen a dramatic change since the rise in A.I. and cybernetics. Major coastline cities have been transformed due to the rise in sea level turning them into aquatic cities. Our protagonist plans to stop crime within his city through surveillance with the yacht needing an accommodation that will best benefit the user when completing tasks.

About me.
After being introduced to yacht design in my third year I found myself tackling innovation from both a yachting and automotive perspective. Studying at Coventry University for 4 years and gaining an internship at Feadship (cancelled due to Covid-19) has shown me how far I have come, and I aim to keep striving for further success, working with a superyacht consultancy in the future.
