There is an increasing urge to become a multi-planetary species, factors such as global warming and non sustainable fuels are increasing the need to search beyond our own planet. Despite well-engineered suspension systems, wheeled mechanisms struggle with the overly rough terrain found on the Moon and Mars.

Aimed for the year 2070, Project Scramble is a vehicle designed to overcome the challenging environment that Mars proposes. The legged architecture of the vehicle allows for greater manoeuvrability over the rocky terrain and allows researchers to explore a greater variety of the martian surface.

The vehicle is designed to improve the living and working conditions of those exploring the surface of another planet.
