Akash Bhupal

My name is Akash Bhupal and I am currently studying Automotive and Transport design. With a keen eye on exterior automotive work but a desire to delve into other forms such as yacht and game design, I aim to try and become ever closer to the goal of creating an object with uncompromised form and function. Gaining experience on a placement at HPL prototypes and being proficient in creating both 2D and 3D visuals means that I get to see my sketch become a rendered piece of work. The knowledge I gained from working with the HPL team along with the feeling of seeing the evolution of a concept is something I very much wish to experience in my future career.

Final Project Description:

My final project named Allpa is an adaptive off road vehicle designed for the overlanding market of 2030 in order to attract potential customers to a more sustainable interactive electric vehicle. It will house a form of secondary transport (a small electric bike) for city driving to reduce congestion. Although lacking an internal combustion engine in favour of lithium-ion cells, Allpa aims to bring the emotion of ICE overlanding back into an electric world.
