Adam Nicholson

Hello and welcome to my page. I am a Graduate looking for a career in Visualisation and CAD modelling, as I have greatly enjoyed the independence of learning new processes and techniques in software while at Coventry University.

I love retro-future design and ideals, taking inspiration from its bold and focused aesthetics, I aim at creating digital artworks, models, and renders that stand out.
My experience is well rounded, having lead a GMC sponsored Coventry University project, as well as being proficient in sketch design and photoshop renders within individual projects. I model with Alias, having used both Nurbs and SubD workflows, with experience in Vred. I have also learnt to use Substance Painter and Blender, which is my main visualisation software.

My FMP 'Equirria' Is a combination of my interests, Sci-fi, technology, and a desire to create something brash and uncompromised. While unconventional in terms of an FMP, I am pleased with the project outcome, in that is realises an experimental idea in a visual manner.

I am looking for opportunities Primarily in visualisation and Alias modelling, but I'm certainly still open to a job in design.

A science fiction, far future vision of motorsport in the next century. Utilising Mars as a base to create a race impossible on earth, Equirria uses the red planet's unique characteristics, exploiting it's atmospheric and gravitational qualities. Equirria combines current space grade technologies as well as sci fi future ideas, visualising an idea of what racing could look like in the far future.
