As a person, I have never been one for convention. This aspect of my personality drives the way I design. I look to create designs that push the boundaries of what we believe will work in a situation and challenge the way people think about the products they use. My focus has always been furniture, but I will always strive to make the world better for the less fortunate or the planet itself.

World industry is stuck in a pre-resource limited mindset which is contributing to the impending climate crisis. By using derivatives of the cradle-to-cradle method and the circular economic system I have been able to develop a set of principles to design within the furniture industry that allows resource value to be maintained. Using these principles, I developed this chair as a showcase of it's potential. The materials used in the chair are 100% reclaimed. The design of the product is highly sculptural to show these materials still have beauty within them. The folding and reworkable nature of the chair is supposed to make it adaptable to reflect the way we need to adapt to stop the climate crisis.

"Here's where redesign begins in earnest, where we stop trying to be less bad and we start figuring out how to be good." – William McDonough
