Creative Taboo" is a board game with Illustrated cards that i created for my final major project. It was inspired by design stereotypes from within the industry and highlighted Individual experiences using humour. Through my research, I realised there was a gap in the market, and made this game aimed specifically at designers and people in the design industries.

Hi, My name is Mariam also known as Maroojazz. I am a graphic designer, illustrator, storyteller, cat lover and aspiring Art director from the UK. I am a recent graduate of Coventry University's BA (Hons) Illustration & Graphics course. My plans after graduation are to work at a Multi-Disciplinary design agency.

For my FMP I created a board game called "Creative Taboo". It was inspired by design stereotypes from within the industry and highlighted Individual experiences using humour. Through my research, I realised there was a gap in the market and made this game aimed specifically at designers and people in the design industries.

I love working with clients and always aim to make it a collaborative experience to create the best outcome. I have gained various skills from my previous work in marketing, branding and social media content creation. This has helped me enhance my skills and apply these to a wide variety of projects.

If you think I could be a great asset to your business please get in touch via email: maroojazz@live.com

This Illustration is based on the stereotype of how it's expected from Interns to provide up and below their work role.
As part of my FMP I worked on an external brief the brief to Create an artwork encompassing Pact coffee ethical mission and farmer stories to display at their customers' venues and to use the assets from the main Illustration as part of their POS. .
This Illustration is based on the stereotype of how clients see computers generating the ideas instead of people behind the screens in this case designers
"Ikigai is a Japanese concept referring to having a direction or purpose in life " I had to create a project based on What is happiness? For me happiness has always been the little things in life and based on the Japanese concept Ikigai created a magazine with fun and quirky Illustrations that shows the little things we do but take them for granted but how about we just enjoy the moment with the feeling of contentment.
