Mason Latter

Throughout my life, I have always been more drawn to the study of editorial design. I find inspiration when studying different layouts and the composition of typography, imagery, and illustration. Whilst I am naturally drawn towards print design, university has shown me unexplored elements within the design industry. I am currently exploring new disciplines involving illustration and animation.

My understanding and application of design rapidly improved during a year's placement at the creative agency, Alive with Ideas. I had to adapt quickly to a deadline-driven environment, developing concepts to completion in a matter of days or weeks. My proficiency within software grew extensively, working alongside industry professionals on live projects. During this year, I was also exposed to more of the design process, including managing clients and their expectations.

Prior to Higher Education, I studied Product Design and still continue this now as a hobby. My enthusiasm for design inspires me to get creative in my idle time, previously taking on personal projects such as building a shed, a snowboard, and many car modifications.

I intend to constantly add both graphic design and personal projects to my portfolio.
