Ryan Forward

Ryan Forward is a UK-based commercial and artistic photographer utilising digital and hyper-digital photographic practices. As a digital photographer, Ryan has worked with local businesses in the South Wales region to help update their marketing material. However, Ryan primarily specialises in portraiture having worked with models for various shoots including fashion, editorial and personal. As a hyper-digital photographer, Ryan uses videogame landscapes to capture characters and locations, using these in ways that allow the audience to engage and respond differently. Using this practice, Ryan seeks to comment on themes of disposability, solipsism and replicability; realising the mentalities that videogames simulate.
