Isabel Beckett

Hello!
My name is Isabel Beckett and having just graduated from the Media Production course I am looking to get in to the film and television industry. My passion for production is with the camera department, hoping to become Cinematographer myself. I have had a camera in front of me, and a need to record everything I see, for as long as I can remember. I feel like the camera is one of the most important aspects of a production because although everything is based on the director's vision, it is what the camera sees which is the window in to a new universe, ready to be explored by the audience.
For my project I chose to do a documentary exploring the affects of Type 1 Diabetes, not just on the person diagnosed with it, but their family as well. Although COVID meant some of my initial ideas had to be scraped to stick to lockdown rules, I believe I still managed to get my message across in a visually pleasing way.
