Daylight Dames is the debut show by Sheba Theatre Company. It is set in 1920s New York during the prohibition era, and follows three women who work in a speakeasy bar, and their pact to reclaim their independence by forming an all-female organised crime gang. A vibrant and empowering feminist comedy, this piece will keep you smiling and dancing all the way through, with a jazz/blues inspired soundtrack.
"If a man should look upon me,
And not see past the two legs, beyond me,
Why should I bother, bein nothin but a robber,
When he can take everything from me?"
