Eliza Komisenko
BA (Hons) International Fashion Business

Eliza Komisenko, a graduate of International Fashion Business. The main inspiration for her projects was inspired by shopping experience making shopping online better for both consumers and businesses.
For Eliza's final major project, she worked on mass customised knitwear by using automated knitting and 3D body scan apps. The use of these technologies is helpful to make products on demand and cater for specific consumer needs – be it a size, a colour or a print. To further sustainability, chosen materials were recycled cashmere and merino wool due to their softness and insulating properties. Products to be made in a variety of colours, ranging from muted to bright tones. They were inspired by everything that can be found in nature and by timeless silhouettes that are easy to combine with other products in consumers' wardrobes.
Alternatively, project 2 is inspired by convenience of luxury shopping online, exclusively during COVID-19 pandemic when destination shopping is no longer an option. This project focuses on bringing a unique luxury destination shopping experience in Virtual Reality from comfort of consumers' homes.
